Privacy notice
This notice covers the Puppy Studio website and its beta application form. The site is run by The Puppy Studio team. The Studio itself is a separate service that you only reach once you're invited.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your email address and, only if you choose to answer, the pet you'd make first, what you'd enjoy, your background, name, country, a link and how you heard about us.
- Where you came from, if your link carried it: campaign tags (utm_*), the referring site's domain and the page you landed on.
- Technical data for abuse prevention: a keyed hash of your IP address (not the address itself), your browser's user-agent string, and the time you applied.
- Page and form counts without cookies: how many times each page was viewed and a form was started or sent, per day, with nothing that identifies you.
This website sets no tracking cookies, uses no third-party analytics and loads nothing from other sites.
Why
To run the private beta: to review applications, choose who to invite, contact the people we invite, and keep the form free of spam.
Who can see it
Only the people running the beta, in a password-protected admin area. We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. The site runs on our own server.
How long we keep it
Until the beta ends, or sooner if you ask us to delete it. Daily backups of the application database are kept for 14 days.
Your choices
You can apply again with the same email address to update your answers. We haven't published a contact address for privacy requests yet; it will be added to this notice. Once we email you about the beta, you can reply to that email to ask for a copy, a correction or deletion.
